It is real my dear friends, in fact i realised the same
Lord Balaji is the world famous god in the number of pilgrims visiting and in collection through Hundis( cash/coins/gold/silver/ornaments etc..)
Everyday there are 60000 people visiting tirumala for darshan and in every special occasions it reaches in lakhs.
TTD Authorities arranged all the accommodation and food for free of cost for the pilgrims who are coming to tirumala and at the same time there are lot number of restrictions( no smoking/no alchol etc.) for them.
I think in life time one must visit at least once to see the god, because you never seen that type of ornaments and dressing for the god.
all this is one side and the other side the power of lord venkateswara made lot of people to visit in there life time.
It is real that we cant stand more than a minute before god, even we get a chance to stay there. our both eyes are not sufficient to watch him and there is something in the god to resist of continuous watching.
I visited lot number of times for AAD(Archana Anthara Darshan). It is in the morning 5.00Am. That was a very good darshan, but sometime because of huge rush it is also become maha lagu darshan.
